Bread Pakora-Bread dumpling
Potato is the universal love for all age groups. The savory taste of potato is enhanced by the dumpling touch.

- Cooking time 5 minutes for frying a batch of 2-3 dumplings
- Makes 4-5 bread pakora
Ingredients
- Potato (boiled) 0.5 kg
- Salt ½ tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Red chili (crushed) 1 tsp
- Chaat masala ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds (crushed & roasted) ½ tsp
- Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) ¼ bunch
- Green chili (chopped) 3-4
For coating
- Sher Besan 1 cup
- Salt ½ tsp
- Red chili powder ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder ½ tsp
- Carrom seeds ¼ tsp
- Water as required
- Oil 1 tbsp
- Bread 8-10 slices
- Cheese slices as required
- Oil for frying
METHOD
Boil the potatoes, peel off skin and mash finely.
Add coriander powder, crushed red chili, chaat masala ½ tsp and crushed cumin seeds. Mix the spices well into mashed potatoes.
Add chopped fresh coriander leaves and green chili and mix well.
Take Sher Besan and add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder and carrom seeds to it. Add sufficient water to make a thin slurry for coating.
Add oil to make the batter smoother.
Take a bread slice and spread potato mixture on it. Place a cheese slice and add another bread slice on top.
Dip the bread sandwich in Sher Besan slurry from both sides.
Deep fry the bread dumpling until golden in a pan at medium low heat.
Serving suggestion
Serve hot with ketchup, chutney or raita.
